Fully fenced secure yard:

There is full security at our fenced storage site in Nelson, with CCTV, an on-site daytime manager (Mon-Fri) and night-time security patrols.

7 days a week access:

You can access the Nelson storage yard during daylight hours at your convenience, 365 days a year. The gates are security locked overnight.

You keep your Keys:

We don’t hold keys for your container storage unit. You provide your own keys and padlock so you are the only one with access to your storage unit.

Insurance Approved:

We are insurance company approved. This means most insurance companies will provide cover for your possessions whilst they are in storage.

Nelson storage capacity expanded

Boxman Storage in Nelson is expanding following a recent deal with AEQ Gold Storage Container Park in Saxton Road. The buyout sees Boxman take over the management of AEQ’s storage business, and their distinctive gold containers will be relocated from Saxton Road to a new site in Quarantine Road, adjacent to Boxman’s existing storage depot and Head Office.

Despite some urgency around the deal, Boxman were able to react quickly to assist AEQ and their customers, and are very happy to welcome them to their new storage facility.

31 day minimum hire period – end when you want

We have a minimum 31 day hire period, which is payable in advance. After that minimum period, you can finish up your storage hire at any stage, with no advance notice required, and any storage time that you’ve paid for but not used will be credited back to you.

Container storage units in a range of sizes

Boxman offers a range of storage unit sizes, starting from 1.8m (6ft) units and up to 6.1m (20ft) shipping containers at our Nelson self storage yard. These provide 33.1m3 of storage space, which is going to cover most storage requirements.
