Ultrasafe (New Zealand) Ltd is a sister company to Boxman (New Zealand) Ltd.
Boxman (New Zealand) Ltd is a family-owned business that has been operating at the premium
end of the container industry since 1990. Recently introduced Hazardous Substances and New
Organisms (HSNO) regulations have meant a change in the way containers are used for the
transportation and storage of dangerous goods. We have always supplied containers for
transporting dangerous goods, but have expanded our expertise and products offered in the
light of the new rules, under the Ultrasafe label.
We have spent the last year developing new hazardous goods storage products that are HSNO compliant and
more. We have thoroughly tested our storage containers in Australia, where regulations are
more strict, and have worked together with ERMA Test Certifier Bruce Evans of Evatech Ltd
to develop the safest possible product.
In addition, we continue to supply containers for transportation purposes and are the New
Zealand and Pacific Island licencee for TEC International, a company run by an ex-pat Kiwi
specialising in providing containers for transporting fuels, oils and bitumen.
