About your position:
Yard co-ordinator, container inspection and compiling surveys, carrying out repairs and
modifications to containers.
How long have you been at Boxman:
I was introduced to Mat in 2006 and joined the Boxman team in 2007.
About yourself in general:
I am from Niue Island, where I worked as a mechanical Fitter and Turner. Moved to New
Zealand in 1984 and continued engineering and welding work building truck trailers and
quarry machinery. Started with Owens container services in 1989 as a repairer before taking
over the workshop supervisor role for container repairs, quality control and modification.
I left the company however, after 18 years of service. After hours I play the bass guitar
for a local band and drive a Holden. Married to my beautiful wife and have had 3 beautiful
children.
